About the role

The Ultrasound Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic exams including OB/GYN, breast, abdominal, and vascular imaging for inpatient and outpatient populations. They are responsible for maintaining equipment, documenting findings in the EMR, and ensuring high-quality patient care in an acute setting.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team and contribute to providing top-tier diagnostic imaging services for our inpatient (IP), outpatient (OP), and emergency department (ED) patients.

Job Responsibilities: As an Ultrasound Technologist, your duties will include: Performing a variety of ultrasound exams, including but not limited to OB/GYN, breast, abdominal, small parts, and vascular exams.

Providing exceptional patient care in an acute care setting, ensuring accurate imaging results while maintaining patient comfort.

Assisting with the preparation and positioning of patients for various ultrasound exams.

Working closely with medical professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses.

Ensuring all ultrasound equipment is maintained and calibrated according to protocol.

Documenting exam details and findings in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Qualifications

Education & Certification: Must be a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program. ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) registered or eligible.

Experience

  • Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred. Knowledge and proficiency in performing OB/GYN, breast, abdominal, small parts, and vascular ultrasound exams.
  • Certifications/Licensure: ARDMS certification required or eligibility to sit for the ARDMS exam. Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Requirements
