Physical Therapy Assistant Part-Time

Description Vertis Therapy is looking for a dedicated Part Time or PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for our beautiful Assisted Living facility in Ft Wayne, IN. Vertis Therapy is a therapist owned company that provide ongoing support and training to our staff while focusing on quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Treatment: Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist to help residents improve safety, functional mobility, strength, and independence.

Documentation

Complete timely and accurate documentation.

Collaboration

Qualifications

Education: Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.

Licensure

Valid Physical Therapist Assistant state license or license eligibility.

Skills

• Proficient in implementing effective treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Physical
• Requirements: Ability to lift and assist clients as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Technology

Computer proficiency to document in electronic medical record platform.
