The surgical technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains the sterility and functionality of surgical instruments and equipment. They work under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing to support the center's surgical goals and quality improvement activities.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a surgical technician program or at least two years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures is required, with preference given to those with ambulatory surgical center experience.

SurgCenter Dunedin, is seeking a motivated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. SurgCenter Dunedin is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.
