As a Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA), the role involves providing restorative nursing services aimed at helping residents restore, improve, or maintain bodily functions to the highest degree practicable. This work must be performed in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, under the direction of supervisors.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have completed a certified Restorative Aide training course along with an unencumbered Nursing Assistant certification for the state. Proficiency in using various types of Adaptive Equipment is also mandatory.
