Performs nuclear medicine and radiographic procedures with proper patient positioning, technique selection, and equipment operation
Ensures patient safety and quality care, including identification, education, monitoring, and adherence to radiation safety (ALARA)
Manages imaging workflow and systems (RIS/PACS), ensuring accurate documentation, image transfer, and proper coding
Maintains quality assurance and compliance with ACR, regulatory standards, and internal protocols
Collaborates with radiologists and team members while staying current through ongoing education and supporting training efforts

Candidates must possess required certification from the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) and/or the Nuclear Technologist Certifying Board (NMTCB), along with applicable state licensure. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is mandatory, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
