About the role

Perform scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring for procedures in the Cath Lab and EP Lab. Manage and prioritize tasks during high-stress situations and participate in an on-call rotation for emergency STEMI cases.

Join the Cardiac Cath Lab team at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas as a full-time, 0.9 FTE Radiologic Technologist.

This position works 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, primarily Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced procedural cardiology setting.

This position participates in a shared evening, overnight, weekend, and STEMI call rotation.

Candidates must be able to respond on-site within 30 minutes when called in for STEMI or other urgent procedures.

Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas shares a campus with many physician offices and medical buildings, including Scripps Clinic Encinitas and an outpatient imaging center.

Required Certification/ Specialized Skills

  • CRT Fluoro BLS from the American Heart Association Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Licensure /Experience: ARRT 1-2 years of experience in Cath Lab Scrub, circulate, and monitor in EP and Cath Lab experience Ability to manage/prioritize during a crisis or stressful situation Knowledge of patient-focused care delivery

Requirements

Requires at least 3 years of experience in an EP or Interventional Cath Lab and possession of CRT Fluoroscopy and BLS certifications. Candidates must be able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes for emergency calls.
