The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant implements therapy activities as directed by a supervising SLP and collects accurate session data. They are responsible for maintaining professional boundaries, documenting services in the EMR, and communicating client changes or safety issues.
Candidates must hold an associate or bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology assisting or a related field. A current, active SLPA certification from the Oklahoma Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology is required.
