Provides comprehensive nursing care to ER patients, including assessments, IV therapy, and emergency treatments. Collaborates with medical staff to develop care plans and manages the discharge process for diverse patient populations.
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school and hold a current Missouri state license. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NRP, with PALS, TNCC, or ENPC preferred.
Primary function.
Provides total nursing care to patients, guided by Advanced Practice Nurse and Physician orders, standards of care, policies and procedures; provides a legible, pertinent, and accurate record of the patient's course of treatment based on the patient's plan of care ad disease process.
10. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Working conditions
Incumbent will be exposed to virus, disease, infection from patients. Usually wear a uniform and PPE. Maybe required to work long shifts. May work weekends, nights, and holidays. May also be on call.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and listen. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position requires intermittent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching as well as lifting and supporting patients.
