The physician will assess, diagnose, and treat patients in emergency situations while providing immediate care and stabilization. They will also collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain accurate medical records and ensure effective patient outcomes.

. This contract, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide critical medical services in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the health and well-being of our community.

As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality emergency care and managing acute medical situations. You'll work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient outcomes and support our mission of providing excellent medical services.

Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in emergency situations Provide immediate care and stabilize patients as needed Collaborate with nursing staff and other physicians Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Communicate effectively with patients and their families Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions Stay current with medical best practices and emergency protocols Manage a variety of medical emergencies in a timely manner

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Valid medical license to practice in the state Board certification in Emergency Medicine is preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice Previous experience in emergency medicine is a plus

Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts

Annual Census: 30k patients

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
