The Cath Lab Technician assists physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures and ensures the laboratory environment is sterile and well-maintained. They are also responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, documenting care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Candidates must hold current ARRT or RCIS certification along with Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) credentials. Previous hospital experience in an acute or rehab setting is required for this role.

Assist in performing cardiac catheterization procedures Prepare and maintain the catheterization laboratory environment Ensure proper functioning of equipment and instruments Monitor patient vital signs during procedures Assist with patient education regarding procedures and post-care Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Participate in quality assurance and safety programs
