The Medical Assistant performs direct patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting physicians with special procedures. They also manage clerical tasks such as maintaining medical records, processing insurance forms, and ensuring examination rooms are stocked and clean.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, they are required to have completed a Medical Assistant training program with a certificate or have 1-3 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
Performs patient care under the physician's/nurse's direct supervision.
