The technician performs outpatient and inpatient EEG routines and continuous monitoring studies. They are responsible for reading and interpreting monitoring studies and eliminating electrical interference to ensure optimal tracing.

4 positions available: Day shift (9 am - 7:30 pm) 4 days/week Evening shift (7 pm - 7:30 am) 3 days/week ​Essential Functions Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson. Properly performs EEG’s, as requested, according to established procedures, as observed by a neurologist and the Director of EEG. Recognizes and eliminates causes of electrical interference, when necessary, to obtain optimal tracing as monitored by neurologist. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Education: High School Diploma Graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic program AND Experience: 1-3 years with EEG Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements: R. Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma and be a graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic program with 1-3 years of EEG experience. An R. EEG T certification is required within one year of hire.
