The therapist will provide comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for patients and collaborate with assistants and aides to ensure high standards of care. They are responsible for maintaining positive client relations and staying current with occupational therapy research to employ evidence-based practices.
Candidates must be graduates of an AOTA-accredited occupational therapy program and hold a valid CPR certification and driver's license. At least one year of experience in the field is required, with preference given to those with experience in custom splinting and adult rehabilitation.
Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management. High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception). Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge. Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
