The technologist is responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging. They operate Gamma cameras and computer systems to evaluate organ anatomy and physiology.
Candidates must hold an Associate degree and be registered with the ARRT or certified by the NMTCB. Previous experience in nuclear medicine is preferred.
Performs a variety of duties including the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals used for the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of organ anatomy and physiology via the use of a Gamma camera and its computer system as well as other associated nuclear medicine equipment.
A.S. Degree. ARRT registered and/or certified by the NMTCB respectively.
Experience preferred.
