WellSpan Waynesboro ICU is a 10-bed unit which provides care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients. As the only intensive care unit in WH, we provide care to a multitude of clinically complex patient populations. We specialize in caring for those who require ventilator or other acute respiratory support, pressors and inotrope therapy, TNK administration for stroke or pulmonary emboli, and hemodynamic monitoring.
Provides clinical support services to patient care staff by performing a variety of duties related to patient care. Takes patient vital signs, assists patients with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, feeding, toileting, etc.), inventories and replenishes supplies and equipment, and performs special assigned duties such as performing EKGs and Point-of-Care testing.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Certified Nurse Aide certification. Candidates must also possess Basic Life Support certification and have less than one year of relevant experience.
