Provide direct patient care for individuals undergoing vascular and bariatric procedures within a 19-bed surgical specialties unit. Manage general medical-surgical patients and perform clinical tasks such as IV insulin management.

Pay Range

$38.20 - $57.30

Join our 19‑bed Surgical Specialties unit, caring for patients undergoing vascular and bariatric procedures as well as general med‑surg patients based on surgical volume. This flexible unit offers a fast‑paced, diverse clinical environment.

Patient Population Includes

  • Bariatric surgery (Gastric Sleeve, Gastric Bypass – not all patients are bariatric)
  • Vascular surgery (CEA, AAA repair, revascularizations, thrombectomies, amputations)
  • General med‑surg patients
  • IV insulin management using Glucommander

Typical Staffing Ratios

  • Days: 1:4
  • Nights: 1:5

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in Georgia
