The therapist provides direct care and treatment services, including individual, family, and group therapy, as outlined in the client's treatment plan. They are responsible for managing the therapeutic needs of assigned clients within the residential psychiatric program.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in social work or counseling and possess at least two years of relevant experience with children or adolescents. Licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT is preferred, along with a valid driver's license.
Master’s Degree from an accredited university in the area of social work or counseling with 2+ years of relevant experience working with children / adolescents with mental health diagnoses.
LCSW / LMHC / LMFT licensure is preferred.
Driver’s License Must be in good standing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Proficient in computer programs and software
Salaried, exempt - $46,500 to $59,400, depending on licensure status and relevant experience.
The Residential Treatment (Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Program) Therapist is responsible for providing care and treatment as outlined in the client’s treatment plan, to include individual, family, and group therapy services to assigned clients and family members.
The employee will be required to talk, hear and see; ability to manipulate objects with hands/fingers.
