The Certified Nursing Assistant coordinates patient care, assists physicians with assessments, and performs clinical procedures such as vital sign monitoring and allergy testing. They are also responsible for maintaining medical records, managing clinical supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety and privacy regulations.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma, with a CMA or CNA certificate being desirable. At least one year of clinical assisting experience and proficiency in practice management software are required.
