The Emergency Veterinary Technician will provide life-saving care, perform patient interventions, and monitor patients in critical condition. They will also assist with anesthesia, perform diagnostic tests, and maintain accurate medical records while collaborating with the clinical team.
Candidates must have 1-2 years of veterinary nursing experience, with preference for ER or specialty practice backgrounds. Proficiency in technical skills such as venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, and drug calculations is required, along with the ability to lift 40 lbs.

What You Can Expect To Do Emergency & Critical Care Nursing: Use your skills to perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and medication administration via all routes. You'll be delivering compassionate and meticulous care in high-pressure situations. Patient Interventions & CPR: You'll be monitoring patients at risk for cardiac and respiratory arrest and will initiate CPR as needed. Patient Monitoring/Record Keeping: You'll be performing patient assessments using various monitoring techniques and communicating with pet owners about their pet's history.
