The MRI Technologist operates high field strength magnets to produce quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include positioning patients, starting IVs, administering contrast media, and evaluating images for technical quality.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program and hold ARRT or ARMRIT certification. BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire, and advanced MRI certification is preferred.
