The pharmacy technician assists pharmacists in preparing medications and IV fluids and delivering products to hospital departments. They are also responsible for interviewing patients to obtain medication histories in nursing areas.
Candidates must be a high school graduate or GED equivalent with current PTCB certification. Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the State of Georgia is also required.
