- We are looking for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team.
- This position will be based at the outpatient rehabilitation clinic located in the Bo Dome in Bensenville IL.
- The potential candidate will play a vital role in assisting licensed physical therapists in providing high-quality care to our patients primarily in orthopedics and post-surgical.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, empathy, and a passion for helping patients regain their mobility and help improve their overall quality of life.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Providing exceptional patient care and services.
- Progressing patient's plan of care that has been established by the physical therapist.
- Periodic written and dictated communication to physicians through progress notes and discharge summaries after consulting with supervising PT regarding patient's plan of care.
- Frequent communication with supervising PT regarding appropriate treatment plan, follow-up appointments, and potential discharge for patients.
- Supervising rehabilitation aides with patient care and administrative staff as needed.
- Daily paperwork. All PT Assistants are responsible for documenting all treatment in patient charts and completing all written communications in a timely manner.
- Education and/or Experience
- Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current licensure as a PTA in IL ( or willingness to apply)
- CPR Certified.
- 1-2 years of experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Energetic and a team player.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Pay Range
- $27-35 per hour. Compensation at MOR is determined by many factors, which may include but are not limited to, job-related skills and level of experience, education, certifications, geographic location, market data and internal equity. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
