About the Position

Under general direction this position provides professional telephone and on-site emergency/crisis intervention and therapy services to children struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues and their families. Participates with an interdisciplinary team in treatment and discharge planning. May have supervisory duties assigned which include administrative responsibility for Behavioral Health Case Managers.

Minimum Qualifications

and Experience:

  • Licensed Behavioral Health Professional –
  • Completion of curriculum requirements for a master’s degree in psychology, social work, guidance and counseling, or closely related field.
  • Must possess a license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LADC, or similar license in the behavioral health field.
  • Licensed Candidate Behavioral Health Professional -
  • Completion of curriculum requirements for a master’s degree in psychology, social work, guidance and counseling, or closely related behavioral health field.
  • Must be license-eligible or under supervision for licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LADC, or similar license in the behavioral health field.

Special Requirements

• Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license

Operated by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Carl Albert Community Mental Health Center (CACMHC) is a fully accredited 15-bed psychiatric hospital and outpatient clinic for adults and children. Other CACMHC offices located in Southeastern Oklahoma are—Holdenville Satellite, Heavener Satellite, Hugo Satellite, Idabel Satellite, Stigler Satellite, Atoka Satellite and Ada PACT.

Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing

This agency requires coverage 24 hours, 7 days per week. Work hours and location may vary depending on business necessity. Employees may be required to work weekends and overtime.
