of the Medical Assistant: · Patient triage, perform injections, EKG’s and phlebotomy · Perform point of care testing (strep, influenza, COVID-19, mono, urine pregnancy, urinalysis) · Dispense medications, perform other treatments · Assist the providers with procedures as needed · Preform employer services (drug and alcohol testing, respirator fit testing, pulmonary function tests and more) · Complete daily laboratory quality controls · Complete patient call backs · Register patients, answer the phone and other administrative tasks Requirements of the Medical Assistant: · Certified or registered as a Medical Assistant · 3+ years of Medical Assisting experience · Team player and ability to multitask · Dependable and able to work all scheduled shifts · Flexibility in scheduling is a must; able to work weekday shifts: 8am – 8pm and weekend shifts: 8am – 5pm · Considerate making each patient feel welcomed and special · Proficient in both verbal and written communication, possessing a clear, professional, friendly and positive demeanor
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
