About the role

The OR Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgical cases, including patient positioning and prepping. They are responsible for circulating the case while maintaining scrupulous infection control standards.

USPI Pearland Surgery Center is seeking a motivated OR Circulator to join our team.

We have 2 main OR rooms and 2 minor OR rooms.

We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Colorectal, General, Plastic, Pain Management, GI Endoscopy.

We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, and 1 Saturday a month, schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day.

Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.

Position requires Monday-Friday and 1 Saturday a month.

Job Summary

The OR Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

Candidates must have a current unrestricted RN license and 1-2 years of experience as a circulator. A degree from an accredited nursing school and current American Heart BLS certification are required.
