The optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye exams, diagnose sight problems, and prescribe appropriate treatments or corrective lenses. They are also responsible for building patient relationships, providing education on eye health, and coordinating care with support staff.
Candidates must hold a Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution. Additionally, they are required to have passed all relevant optometric state board examinations.
