The Dental Assistant will perform chairside duties to support dentists and hygienists while ensuring high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include managing infection control, sterilizing instruments, maintaining inventory, and documenting patient information.
Candidates should have previous dental assistant experience and the ability to obtain QDA or RD licensure in North Dakota and Minnesota. A current CPR certification is required, along with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Family HealthCare (FHC) is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant. This position will work with the dental team to provide high quality care and positive patent experience to a diverse population. The Chairside Dental Assistant performs duties to assist the Dentists and Hygienists in the provision of dental care and treatment of patients. This role performs duties in the fields of chairside assisting, infection control, inventory and records.
Gather and record patient information and communicate patient needs with the dental team. Chairside assisting during dental procedures. Anticipate dentist's and clinic needs. Navigate patient through appointment while addressing concerns, educating patient, and gaining an understanding of patient perspective while helping to maintain clinic flow. Comply with all dental policy & procedures including current infection control practices and safety measures Processing and sterilization of instruments in accordance with the standards of the clinic. Perform assigned required maintenance duties to ensure adequate inventory supply for patient visits. Support the organization as needed.
License, registration and/Or certification: Ability to become licensed as a QDA and/or RD in the states of ND and MN Current CPR Certification
