The Medication Technician is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents while maintaining their dignity and privacy. They also document medication administration and assist with personal care needs to promote resident independence.
Candidates must hold a current Caregiver or CNA certification and a Certified Med Tech certification. The role requires strong communication skills and the physical ability to assist with resident transfers and daily care tasks.

As our Assisted Living Med Tech, you will play a vital role in supporting resident health and safety by accurately administering medications and treatments under the direction of a licensed nurse. You will assist residents with daily needs while upholding their dignity, privacy, and rights, and ensure precise documentation of medication administration and any changes in condition. In this role, you will also perform basic treatments such as simple dressing changes and skin care, promote resident independence through respectful support, and carry out delegated tasks from nursing leadership. Your commitment to compassionate, consistent, and detail‑oriented care will directly contribute to maintaining a high-quality, supportive environment for every resident.
