Performs technical cardiac ultrasound procedures for the diagnosis of disease or injury across all patient age groups. Maintains accurate patient records and provides professional services within the cardiology department.
Requires graduation from an accredited Echocardiography program and at least two years of hospital experience. Must hold or be eligible for ARDMS or CCI certification and obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Performs technical procedures associated with the application of cardiac ultrasound for the diagnosis of disease or injury. Provides patient services, neonatal through geriatric, using imaging modalities in an efficient professional manner and with sensitivity to patient needs. Accurately documents, files and maintains patient record. May also perform other various duties pertaining to the Department of Cardiology.
