Responsible for general clinical duties including taking vitals, administering injections, and maintaining examination rooms at an outpatient oncology site. Provides administrative support and documentation of patient records as directed by providers.
Requires a High School Diploma and certifications as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and in CPR/AED/First Aid. Proficiency in EPIC software and strong analytical thinking skills are expected.
Under limited supervision, responsible for general clinical duties such as taking vital signs, giving injections, performing simple diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms at an outpatient care site. May perform some administrative duties and support the documentation of patient records as dictated by the physician or provider.
