The Radiologic Technologist performs various imaging procedures including CT, fluoroscopy, and general X-rays to assist medical staff in diagnosis. They are responsible for positioning patients, maintaining high-quality images, and documenting exam details in the EMR.
Candidates must be graduates of an ARRT-recognized two-year technical program and hold a current Radiology license in Minnesota. A current BLS certification is required, and one to two years of hospital experience is strongly preferred.
Summary The position works under the direction of the Radiology Manager and the Radiologist. This position takes images and radiographs of varied methods of the body in various modalities i.e. CT, Fluoroscopy, Surgery, X-ray, etc. to assist the Medical Staff in the diagnosis of disease and injury.

Required Education and Experience Graduate of an ARRT recognized two-year technical program with certificate of completion or by equivalent outside study. Must have current Radiology license in the state of MN by the ARRT. Current BLS certification required Must have the ability to multi-task and work independently.
Preferred Education and Experience One to two years as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting strongly preferred. Associates Degree in Radiology or Healthcare.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work 40-hour work week, includes a mix of 8, 10, and 12 hour rotating shifts, with weekend and holiday rotation.
