The Cardiovascular Specialist performs technical and patient care functions during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Electrophysiology lab. They are also responsible for monitoring equipment and ensuring compliance with safety policies and regulations.
Candidates must hold an associate's degree in nursing, radiology, or an allied health program, and possess relevant certifications such as BLS and ACLS. One year of job-related experience is preferred, along with advanced cardiovascular and electrophysiology credentials.
Performs technical and patient care functions during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiovascular and Electrophysiology labs. Monitors and maintains equipment. May serve in the role of charge or lead. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
