Nurs Asst, Surgical-Telemetry/Ortho, 3GH Unit Description: 3G/H is a 37-bed telemetry/medical surgical unit specializing in but not limited to orthopedic/neuro/spine patients. . The unit serves as a secondary stroke unit as well as general cardiac/telemetry patients. The patients are transferred in from PACU, ED, interventional areas, and direct admissions from MD offices.

- Summary: Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member, the Patient Care Tech (PCT/HUC) provides direct patient care and related support. Performs selected nursing procedures and routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients.
