The surgical assistant provides high-quality clinical care by assisting oral surgeons during procedures and managing postoperative patient education. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean, stocked clinical environment and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent required (some college, preferred) Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Required Basic life support certification or DAANCE certified Required Experience: Previous dental experience – Preferred not required Experience as an oral surgery assistant or dental assistant is preferred. (Will train the right candidate.)
