The Sonographer utilizes high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques to produce and evaluate ultrasound images. They perform ultrasound procedures, maintain equipment, and provide patient care during examinations.
Candidates must have graduated from a 2-year AMA Allied Health Program and hold certifications in Basic Life Support and Diagnostic Ultrasound. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a sonographer is preferred.
