The physician will deliver advanced wound management services, including conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, prescribing treatments, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams across various acute care settings. Responsibilities also involve reviewing patient records, overseeing research protocols for compliance, and engaging with the local medical community.
Candidates must possess a current, unrestricted state Physician license and be Board certified, with a Graduate Degree education level. Preferred qualifications include one year of experience in Wound Care and knowledge of chronic health conditions and prevention guidelines.
As part of the WoundCentrics team, you will play a vital role in transforming patient care across hospital-based outpatient departments, skilled nursing facilities, and long-term acute care hospitals. You will be entrusted with delivering advanced wound management services that directly improve patient outcomes and quality of life. Responsibilities · Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures · Ordering and schedule necessary studies and professional consultations · Providing direct patient care services · Evaluates wound care and hyperbaric care issues · Takes part in facility orientation and training · Works closely with leadership · Reviews hyperbaric and wound care patient records · Reviews research protocols for IRB-standards compliance · Reaches out to area medical community to identify new facilities for company to service · Supervise mid-level practitioners Qualifications Qualifications · Current, unrestricted state Physician license · Board certified · Wound Care experience — 1 year preferred · Knowledgeable of care of common chronic health conditions as well as health promotion and prevention guidelines · Detail oriented, dependable and reliable
