CT Technologist II - Weekend

Minimum Qualifications

Technical School Diploma Graduate of accredited Radiography program or equivalent Less than 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist Ability to provide proper patient care essential to radiologic procedures. Knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting to various protocols. Proficient use of the advanced software for CT scanning and post procedure processing applications. Strong aptitude for CT technology. Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and upbeat demeanor. American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania within 30 Days RT - Registered Technologist Radiology - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire or CT - Computed Tomography ARRT - State of Pennsylvania within 1 Year CNMT - Certified Nuclear Med Tech NMTCB - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s Degree Graduate of Health Science program Knowledge and skills to perform venipuncture. Physical Demands Lift and carry 40-50 lbs.

Examples

Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
