The clinician will provide bioidentical hormone therapy, weight management, and cardiometabolic health optimization services across multiple clinic locations. Responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, performing physical exams, diagnosing health conditions, and maintaining accurate patient records.
The Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Weight Management, and Cardiometabolic Health Optimization Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Clinician) will provide the following services to promote health and well-being: perimenopausal, menopausal, and andropausal (Low T) hormone therapy; medical weight management; and cardiometabolic health optimization. Care is delivered across a group of clinics within a designated region as well as online. The ideal candidate will have a background in women’s health, endocrinology, and internal medicine, and/or a strong desire to learn. The candidate should possess a passionate commitment to excellent patient care, be a team player, self-motivated and detail oriented with a polished professional attitude.
✍️PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide Perimenopausal, Menopausal and Low Testosterone therapy treatments in accordance with JSMD protocols, regulations, and accepted practices.
Provide Weight Management and Cardiometabolic Health Optimization care founded in our evidence based approach to improving quality of life and preventing and reversing chronic disease.
Conduct 1:1 consultations with patients to determine the best treatments for their desired outcome and create an integrated care plan.
Perform physical examinations and screenings of patients.
Effectively inform and educate patients about specific health and wellness concerns.
Diagnose health problems and detect changes in patient condition.
Regularly make follow up phone calls and timely respond to patient post-visit inquiries.
Perform routine procedures and exams and order and evaluate appropriate lab tests.
Administer medications.
Operate medical equipment.
Ensure patient records are kept up to date including test results, immunizations, condition changes, etc.
Deliver quality, physician-level care while complying with company policies, safety regulations, and productivity metrics Maintain complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and JSMD policies and procedures.
Communicate to management all occurrences involving staff or patients that require attention.
Handle patients’ questions and concerns professionally, timely and courteously.
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
🥼 QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS California licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program. DEA Registration Certificate. OIG Clearance and NPI number Background check to include criminal records clearance Clean DMV record and ability to travel locally. **These qualifications are essential to ensure compliance with state regulations and to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and patient care.
🧠 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Background in women’s health, OBGYN, or endocrinology particularly helpful.
Superb interpersonal skills—a “people person,” empathetic listener, sensitive, upbeat, optimistic, articulate, gracious, and tactful.
Ability to quickly build relationships with mid-life hormone therapy and / or weight-loss/metabolic health patients of varying backgrounds, personalities, temperaments, and needs.
Strong conviction in the underlying rationale behind our approach.
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office, electronic health record (EHR), billing and appointment systems.
Strong knowledge base of HIPAA and OSHA required.
Flexible and able to multi-task; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, a professional demeanor and to always represent the company in a positive manner.
Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction.
Open minded to continual process change and improvement.
Able to travel to assigned clinics.
Maintaining a valid CA driver license, reliable personal automobile, a clean driving record, and current insurance as required by law are essential job requirements.
