The psychiatrist will provide diagnosis and treatment for psychiatric inpatients through direct service and the supervision of multidisciplinary treatment teams. Additionally, the role involves preparing psychiatric-legal evaluations and reports while collaborating with leadership to enhance staff performance.
Candidates must have completed formal residency training in psychiatry and possess the ability to become licensed to practice medicine in Montana. Board certification in psychiatry is preferred, along with a strong understanding of major psychiatric diagnoses and psychotherapeutic agents.

Understanding of the use of the common psychotherapeutic agents and of the statutory requirements relating to the practice of medicine. Ability to work comfortably and congenially within a team-oriented work setting. Meet minimum qualifications: Formal residency training as a psychiatrist yielding demonstrated competence in medical treatment. Must be able to become licensed to practice medicine in the State of Montana. Preferably Board Certified in Psychiatry, or eligible for certification.
