The Clinical Technician II provides routine patient care duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, including assisting with activities of daily living and observing changes in patient status. This role also involves maintaining a clean and safe environment and transporting patients as required.

Job Description

Purpose & Scope: Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures, administering radio-pharmaceutical for the purpose of detecting pathology, evaluating function, or as a means of therapy.MEC approval: 7/11/2016 Education: Associate’s degree in radiography is required or, Graduate of an accredited certificate program for radiography is required Experience: One year of experience in nuclear medicine is preferred. Certification/Licensure: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear) or NMTCB required. BLS certification required. Additional

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, along with six months of relevant clinical experience or completion/enrollment in the Clinical Technician II program. Applicants must also possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and meet a minimum of six education hours related to the current role.
