Under the direction of licensed professionals, the LPN will perform patient care activities and complete all required documentation for patients of all ages in an Express Care setting. Key duties include collecting and documenting patient data, implementing care plans, administering treatments, performing routine lab tests, and educating patients and their families.

Cleveland Clinic Express Care® Clinics provide no appointment necessary, walk-in medical convenience for common acute health problems. Under the direction of a registered nurse, physician, optometrist and / or podiatrist, you will perform patient care activities and complete required documentation for patients of all ages.
A caregiver in this position works variable hours and may work 8-hour shifts with a start time at 7:30am
Collect and document objective and subjective data and observations about patients.
Complete nursing assessments and report all data.
Implement the current nursing care plan, medication or treatment and communicate patients’ responses.
Observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
Perform routine laboratory tests.
Educate patients and family members.
• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
