Performs a variety of procedures including CT scans, invasive procedures, and image post-processing under the supervision of a radiologist. Utilizes computerized tomographic equipment to create high-quality diagnostic images while providing age-appropriate patient care.
Requires graduation from an ARRT-approved radiologic technology program and current ARRT certification or registry eligibility. Candidates must possess basic computer skills and maintain BLS certification.
Under the supervision of the Outpatient Imaging Manager and/or Radiologist, performs a variety of procedures, including CT scans and invasive procedures and post processing.
Required: A graduate of an ARRT approved radiologic technology program.

The position requires independent judgment and initiative in utilization of computerized tomographic equipment to create high quality diagnostic images.
The employee must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive care appropriate to the age of the patients seen in the Outpatient CT Department.
The employee must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in the unit's policies and procedures.
