The technologist operates conventional, fluoroscopic, and portable radiology equipment to perform diagnostic examinations according to physician specifications. They also assist physicians with sterile procedures, contrast media preparation, and patient positioning while maintaining a patient-centered environment.
Candidates must hold an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology and possess a Massachusetts license. Additionally, A.R.R.T. registration is required, or candidates must be registry eligible with proof of passing the exam within 90 days of hire.
Education: Associate's degree program in Radiologic Technology plus three (3) months or less of on-the-job training and orientation.
