The Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications while maintaining accurate patient records and inventory. They ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and provide high-quality support for pharmacy operations and patient care.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and hold or be willing to obtain a pharmacy technician registration or license. Strong attention to detail, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.

Assist pharmacists in preparing, labeling, and dispensing prescription medications Accurately enter prescription and patient information into the pharmacy system Maintain proper storage, handling, and inventory control of medications and supplies Process insurance claims and resolve basic billing or coverage issues Communicate professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy staff Refill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision Perform medication packaging, counting, compounding (if applicable), and labeling Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and safety standards Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with regulatory requirements Assist with audits, quality assurance activities, and inventory audits Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Pharmacy Technician registration and/or licensure as required by state law (we will help you obtain once hired, if necessary) Basic computer skills and ability to use pharmacy management systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), or desire to obtain Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience Experience with electronic health records (EHR) or pharmacy software Familiarity with insurance processing and prior authorizations Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Manual dexterity to handle medications and pharmacy equipment Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Core Competencies Accuracy and attention to detail Teamwork and collaboration Customer service orientation Time management and organization Professionalism and ethical conduct
