The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory therapy services and life support to patients under physician direction. Responsibilities include operating mechanical ventilators, monitoring physiological responses, and performing diagnostic tests like arterial blood gas analysis.
Candidates must be graduates of a CoARC-approved respiratory program and hold a valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Pennsylvania. Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification are required.

Under the general direction of a physician and by prescription, provides respiratory therapy services and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. Defined responsibilities are performed in all patient populations and in all patient service areas.
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
