The Peer Recovery Coach facilitates meaningful conversations to help members meet their recovery goals and provides consultation to promote a recovery-centered culture. They also respond to critical situations using high-level engagement and de-escalation skills to support members in crisis.

The Peer Recovery Coach I engages, inspires, and facilitates meaningful conversations with members served that assist the members to explore, create, and meet their own recovery goals. Peer Recovery Coaches provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare’s Recovery Culture as defined by the Telecare Recovery Centered Clinical System (RCCS) in which each member’s point of view and preferences are recognized, understood, respected, and integrated into services and self-help programming. Additionally, Peer Recovery Coaches respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills which support a least restrictive environment for members served experiencing an emergency related to a mental health/addiction challenge.
Expected starting wage range is $23.00.
We pay Shift differentials for hourly staff (6% for PM Shift, 10% for Overnight Shift). Weekend Shift differentials for hourly staff (5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend Overnight Shift)

Our 12-chair facility, serving up to 8 adults (aged 18 and above) and 4 adolescents (aged 13-17); has a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, psychiatric prescribers, nursing staff, and peer specialists who are all here to help you on your path.

Peer Support Specialist, Peer Recovery, Peer Employment Training, PET

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and have at least one year of experience supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges. Additionally, the Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
