The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists occupational therapists in planning and conducting programs to help patients regain physical and mental stability. They also evaluate patient progress, provide education to families, and ensure a safe, compliant work environment.
Candidates must hold an Associate Degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an ACOTE-accredited program and possess a valid state license. Additionally, CPR certification and the physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds are required.
