The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for preparing medications through sterile and non-sterile compounding and ensuring accurate delivery to storage locations. They also maintain inventory audits and document regulatory requirements while utilizing pharmacy technology systems.
Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED and an active registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. Within 18 months of hire, they are required to obtain national CPhT certification and registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
