The Surgical Technologist is responsible for the proper care and use of surgical instruments while anticipating the needs of the surgical team. They must establish and maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures in the operating room.

Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED and have completed a Scrub Technician Certification Program. Additionally, 1-2 years of operating room experience, BLS certification, and CST certification are required.
