The Qualified Medication Aide is responsible for administering non-parenteral medications in a long-term care facility under the supervision of a nurse. They must follow physician treatment plans and established facility policies while providing care to residents.
Candidates must hold a valid QMA certification in the state of Indiana and possess a current BLS/CPR certification. The role requires availability for the second shift, including every other weekend.
Qualified Medication Aides (QMA) in the state of Indiana are permitted to administer non-parenteral medications in long-term care facilities in accordance with a physician’s plan of treatment and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. QMAs are not allowed to do invasive procedures and assessing. The QMA is expected to follow the instructions issued by the physician or licensed nurse according to established policies and procedures.
This position is eligible for a $6,000 sign-on bonus.

3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
